Kyla Chalmers is a public relations professional and graduate from St John’s University. With experience in aspects such as campaigns, strategies, and event publicity, she has a skilled and dedicated approach. Kyla is passionate about social change and nonprofit work, and hopes to secure a full-time position that allows her to fulfill those desires professionally, as well as personally. Eager for further innovation, she believes public relations is all about communication, and while actions speak louder than words, the mode of the message can truly create the change the world needs to see. Through both her formal and educational training, Kyla is well-versed in social-media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, pitching softwares such as Muck Rack and HARO, and the construction of writings such as press releases and pitch letters.
